Wildlife Tracking
The Ancient Tracker
The awareness of ancient trackers was born of survival. In feeding the village they found a great appreciation for the animals they hunted.
Learning From Animals
Tracking is not simply the study of animals, it's a living conversation with the wild. Walking down a deer trail requires you to move like the deer, to see what it sees. There's an old saying in tracking, "The more your track an animal, the more you become it."
Knowing "that" Bear
One day you find a bear print in the fir needles. You keep following it. You meet this bears trail through winter, spring, summer and fall. Years go by and one day you find its last track. You did not track a bear, you found a friendship.
