Tony and Shaun teach the fundamentals of wildlife tracking

9-months to 1-year

Attending the full 9-month Fellowship weaves our Fall, Winter and Spring terms into a cohesive nine-month journey. Experiencing traditional skills through every season connects you to land and community the way humans were meant to. You can begin any season.

The Village

Each term builds upon the other as you find yourself in an ever growing and evolving village of your peers. Community is the most valuable part of our program. Living the seasonal rounds in a team of your fellows mirrors the timeless experience of a culture connected to the Earth.

Design and Live in a Survival Village

At the core of our 9-month Fellowship is a journey to design and build a full survival village that we will live in for one week. Most wilderness living and survival skills programs simply throw students into places they do not know well; this is akin to the conventional notion of man vs. wild. Our philosophy is different, we insist that you cultivate a relationship with every place you will be living. That you know the plants, animals and life you will be affecting by your presence and participation. Learn more
